[Note-Sunday children's message-Saturday sermon.] If you took the time to read about the early Christian churches in the Bible, you’d find some who had their problems and some who were doing quite well. I wonder, what would God say about our church? For that matter, what would He say about you? Our text is teaching us that if the inside is alive, all other things will follow. It’s right there in the Epistle reading. Faith produces works. Love prompts labor. Hope inspires endurance. Faith, love, and hope – Here’s the place our church needs to be. Here’s the place each one of us needs to be. How do we get there? God gets us there through the power of the Holy Spirit and the death and resurrection of Jesus. May we remain there always.
