Do you realize how special you are in Christ? God tells us today: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. You have been changed. There is no past to condemn you. Today, we see the promise of that change (Isaiah 12:1-6), the reason for that change (2 Corinthians 5:16-26), and an illustration of that change (Parable of the Prodigal Son). Truly, Jesus changes everything. And as this is true for you, it is true for those people around you. This day, see yourself and those around you as they truly are in Christ – forgiven children of God – new creations – and ready in Christ for eternal life in heaven!
