When your car won’t start, you need a mechanic. The examples could go on. There seems to be a person for every trouble and for the most part, we know just where to go. But what about those deeper and eternal things of life? Who do you need when your loved one dies and your heart is burdened with grief? Where do you go when you watch the news and you become fearful and worried? Who do you need when you commit a sin that troubles you and fills you with guilt? Who is going to bring your prayers to your Heavenly Father? Who do you need to carry you from this life to eternal life? You need a Melchizedek, and thankfully you have one. He is Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
