Rory gives an introduction to the book of Acts, which is both historical and evangelical. Acts is the main source of our study of the Church. Written by Luke, a physician, it is an orderly account, and is incredibly accurate. Places referenced in Acts can still be found today. It is at this time that Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received the Promise of the Father, who was the Holy Spirit. Verse 8 is the key verse.
