What our faith does for us Ephesians 2:8-10 I. FAITH gets our sins pardoned - Rom.5:1 We are saved by Faith. We are justified by Faith. It brings peace with God. II. FAITH Purifies our hearts – Acts 15:8,9 Surrender brings cleansing. A pure heart brings power: -in testing. -for witnessing. III. FAITH produces joy I Peter 1:8 Joy over the One we’ve not seen. A lack of Joy produces an unconvincing testimony. (CONT.) III. FAITH produces joy I Peter 1:8 We are forgiven! Heaven bound! We should Joyfully share Christ! IV. FAITH provides wisdom - James 1:1-6 A lack of wisdom means we are not learning – “Teach me thy ways, O Lord.” We seek wisdom form above. Psalm 32:8 V. FAITH performs miracles – Matt. 9:29 Miracles are not only in the past The Lord delights in doing the impossible! VI. FAITH promises victory – I John 5:4,5 People are defeated by Satan.
