Love is not provoked, it does not allow itself to become irritable towards the one its loves. Love may be angry, but not AT what it loves, for instance, the anger may be towards the influence of sin in a person's life. Love does not take into account wrongs against it. Are we good at being poor record keepers in regards to the wrongs of others towards us? If I am tracking your wrongs, I am not tracking your needs(which is what love does).
