Why did the Lord say, "Let the dead bury their dead"? The Lord stressed the hardships of following Him. Discipleship will have hardships and true discipleship must be sustained by more than enthusiasm, it must be principled. To follow Christ is to truly have no home on this earth, true followers of Christ will come to know and have the sense of an ex-patriot.
