Three powerless Hebrews put God's sovereign lordship front and center as the fire blazed around them. And then no one was able to deny the power of the one and only God. Winning the day in this culture is not more important than worshiping Christ to the end. The only way to gain Christ is to lose everything for Him. The resolve that does not bow the head or bend the knee comes not from the stubborn refusal to lose to your fellow sinner but it comes from from the loving desire to worship Christ at the cost of everything and everyone else.
