The incarnation of Christ is needed more than any other need. Making war with sin is by learning Christ, not by modifying our behavior. Jesus is more human than are we. When we sin, we are less human than we ought to be. In the second of a three-part series on Christ's incarnation and the hypostatic union we are reminded that: 1) We need Jesus, a truly human savior. He pitched His tent among us. 2) We need Christ; we need His divinity, truly man, truly God. Jesus did not set aside His divinity to become man. 3) The Father sent the Son because the Father wills to punish sinners. 4) We need the grace of Jesus Christ in order to live as He lives. Is Jesus Christ the reason that you live in the manner in which you live?
