In the third of a three-part series, Faith, Hope, and Love, we examine Love with the primary text, 1 John 4: 7-21. We should love God: 1) Because God is love, vv. 7-8; 2) To follow God's supreme example of Christ, vv. 9-10; 3) In order to be who we are in Christ Jesus, v. 11; 4) Because His love is perfected in us, v. 12; 5) Because love is the Christian's crucial commitment. No one has ever sinned against you worse than you sinned against Jesus.
