Unity means we have things in common, but it does not mean we are all the same. As Christians, we are called to have unity with one another. This does not mean we are the same people, with the same personalities, and the same gifting. It means that we have one thing, Christ Jesus, as our center. We all have one calling, and it is Matthew 28, the Great Commission. We are called to know God and make Him known, but we will all have different gifting to do this. It isn't that the worship team will work over here, the teachers will work over there, and the hospitality team will work in their corner. It is that we will all work together to create a space for people to know God. We will work together as one, even if our gifts and talents differ. Today, we really dive into what it means to be in community with one another, how we can pursue it, and maintain it.
