With this sermon we begin a new series on Wed. evenings. We will be studying "The Twelve". This is how the books of the Minor Prophets are referred to in the Hebrew Scriptures. They are called "Minor Prophets" only because they are typically shorter in length, not because their message is inferior or less important than the larger prophetical books. We will see the overall theme of these books, found in Zechariah's call to repentance: "Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you..." (1:3)
