Introduction Romans 9:27-29, in conjunction with the immediate biblical context and the teaching of Romans 11, gives a wonderful message of hope in a world of sinful rebellion �" God will always have a remnant, no matter how terrible the day may be. There are three important overarching Old Testament motifs that are vital in Bible study: the Exodus, the exile and return, and the remnant. All of these include gospel anticipations found in the New Testament. Today we think on the idea of God�"s remnant seen through the lens of Romans 9:27-29.
