Welcome to Protea Valley Church! We believe that all of the Bible is inspired by God’s Spirit, but in this series we’ll be focusing particularly on the words that Jesus spoke - in some bibles His words are printed in red ink to help the reader more easily recognise when He is speaking among all the other voices in the narratives. What a wonderful treasure to have these words directly from the mouth of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. We all get angry at times with those around us. It’s a normal human emotion in response to bad or hurtful things. It’s not necessarily wrong to feel anger. But in today’s scripture Jesus compares anger in the heart to murder. What does this mean? Our human relationships are deeply important to God. How can we deal with our anger in the right ways so that it does not become comparable to murder?
