We believe that all of the Bible is inspired by God’s Spirit, but in this series we’ll be focusing particularly on the words that Jesus spoke - in some bibles His words are printed in red ink to help the reader more easily recognise when He is speaking among all the other voices in the narratives. What a wonderful treasure to have these words directly from the mouth of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. In this sermon Brent takes us to the “Beatitudes”, meaning “Blessings”, however the situations Jesus speaks of here are not what we might expect or associate with the idea of being blessed.
