A Fat Fish is Hard to Catch

You know typically when you hear sermons on temptation…they tend to focus on “dos and don’ts”…and so I can understand how it would be easy to get the wrong impression of what the Bible is really all about. But when James speaks out about this issue of temptation….these “dos and don’ts” aren’t really his main focus; because the people whom James was addressing had committed two sins: One…they chose to sin…but I think what really broke God’s heart… was that they chose to sin…over following Him. And that’s what Satan always tempts us with….anything that draws us away from God.
