Choosing Barabbas

After Peter healed the beggar outside of the Portico of Solomon-a crowd gathered to witness this wonder firsthand. Peter uses the opportunity to exalt Christ-and indict his listeners for choosing Barabbas-a convicted murderer over Jesus the Son of God. It seems insane-yet people do it all time-they see Jesus and they see Barabbas (whatever their Barabbas might be) and they reject Jesus and choose Barabbas!
