Celebrate the King Part 3 Forgiveness

We’re in week three of our “Celebrate the King” Christmas series…and over the last couple of weeks we’ve taken our eyes off of the sparkle and the glitz and the flashing lights that has come to characterize Christmas from our earthly perspective…and instead…we’ve fixed our eyes on Jesus Christ and on the messages of Christmas that God wants us to see…from His heavenly perspective. And so the message of Christmas for you from God today is…is that birth of Jesus Christ was not only a message of hope…it was also message of forgiveness. When Jesus emptied himself and abandoned his sovereign position in heaven…and came to earth…He brought forgiveness with Him…and it’s a Christmas gift from Almighty God to every one of us in this room…and unlike most of the worthless junk we get for Christmas…this is something we all desperately need.
