For the next two weeks, we will talk about the cross and the power of the resurrection. Today the question is why the cross? If you have grown up around the church, the cross may be something you wear around your neck or see on church buildings. Like many things we see all the time, the cross can lose its meaning or significance. When we lose sight of the meaning of the cross, we will diminish the value of Jesus, and when we lessen the value of Jesus, we will set something in His place.
