We continue our study of Romans as we focus on Romans 8:17 in this sermon. We are "sons of God" by the adoptive work of the Holy Spirit His presence assures us of our sonship. Paul then takes this sonship to the next level. If we are children of God, then that means we are heirs of God...we have a guaranteed inheritance...and that inheritance, first and foremost is found in God Himself. He desires to be with us and to be our God.
