This study: Revelation is the book of the Bible that contains the most symbols - there are a lot of hidden details behind seemingly simple words, terms, and phrases. In this series, God invites those who "heard His Voice" in Laodicea, to come up higher and enter into the Open Door of the revealed mysteries "sealed up" until the time of the end. God promised that He wouldn't do anything until He revealed His secrets to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7) That is what is taking place in Chapter Four - He is showing John (a type of the Bride) the "things that must be here after."
