Today is the last Sunday in what is called ‘ordinary time’ in the liturgical churches. It is ‘the Reign of Christ’ Sunday, an opportunity to remember that our identity and being is in the person of Christ, the Messiah. We’ll be drawing on some of the readings from the lectionary for this Sunday, focusing on Colossians where Paul’s encouragement is that Christ is supreme.
