Helvey Next Week: Exodus 32:1-8; 15-20 Smashing Idols Baptist Temple History Activities Building Dr. Kyle Haselden was called to Baptist Temple in 1954 and served as Senior Minister until 1960. Dr. Haselden led the church in prayer, study and planning for ways to better educate the youth. The Education Center (Baptist Temple Activities Center) was built at a cost of $402,000 and dedicated in 1958. All youth programs could now be in one location and there was ample space for weekday morning preschool outreach to the community.
