We Open Our Hearts to God’s Presence
Please observe a time of silence during the prelude in preparation for
worship. Let all worshipers ask God’s blessings on the service, themselves,
and on all who seek to worship God in spirit and in truth.

Baptist Temple History
Activities Building
Dr. Kyle Haselden was called to Baptist Temple in 1954 and served as Senior Minister until 1960. Dr. Haselden led the church in prayer, study and planning for ways to better educate the youth. The Education Center (Baptist Temple Activities Center) was built at a cost of $402,000 and dedicated in 1958. All youth programs could now be in one location and there was ample space for weekday morning preschool outreach to the community.
