Celebrating the Life of Denise Diane Busse

Denise Diane Busse, age 62, of South Charleston West Virginia passed away on March 2nd. Denise fought a brave and determined 15 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Denise was born in Grafton, WV and graduated from Grafton High School and then attended WVU where she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Denise worked at a number of dental offices in Charleston as a dental Hygienist for 34 years. Denise enjoyed the daily socialization with her many patients over the years. Denise enjoyed family vacations, walking, making wreaths, and being with family and friends. Denise was preceded in death by her father Charlie Bennett. She is survived by her husband Bruce, daughter Morgan who she loved more than anything, mother Norma Pisino, Carol Hovatter (Aunt K), brother Edward Bennett, and nephew Brian Bennett. Denise’s family and friends are going to miss her beautiful smile, bright blue eyes, humor, and kindness. A memorial service to honor Denise’s life will be held at 11:00 am at Charleston Baptist Temple on Saturday March 19, 2022. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am before the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.
