TOGETHERING
Speaker: Dr. Jim Hewitt
Theme: The Apostle Paul understood that the life of the church is essentially communal. A togethering church centers its life and journey around the core set of shared values or beliefs. These values unite us. They are stakes in the ground to which are tied the bonds which keep us together. United we are better able to follow Christ on a journey of faith.

We Open Our Hearts to God’s Presence
Please observe a time of silence during the prelude in preparation for
worship. Let all worshipers ask God’s blessings on the service, themselves,
and on all who seek to worship God in spirit and in truth.

Glory and Adoration There's a Sweet, Sweet Spirit No. 291
There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place,
and I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord;
There are sweet expressions on each face,
And I know they feel the presence of the Lord.
Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly Dove, stay right here with us,
filling us with your love, and for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise; without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived
when we shall leave this place.
