Here’s what I felt the Lord saying through this passage. When it’s easy to come to this Holy Day of Easter, shrouded in tradition, routine, ritual. I feel the Lord wants us to hear urgency. When it would feel more comfortable to go through the plans and schedules. For me: sunrise service, breakfast Potluck, church, easter eggs and so forth. I felt the Lord speak to me out of this passage to say, “Wait a minute.” It’s an interruption. It’s a knocking on the door from the Lord Jesus, the real Lord Jesus, who says, “I am He whom you are celebrating the Resurrection of today, and here’s what I say.”
