In the last of three talks, John Green explores the principles underlying church leadership - and affirms the central role of the entire church membership in advancing the kingdom of God. John draws out three characteristics of leadership of a local church 1. Elder-led 2. Deacon-served 3. Member-governed The church recognises certain people as having godly character and gifts to lead and serve. But responsibility for guarding against false teaching, church discipline and committing to one another sits with the entire church.
