Welcome to worship at Trinity! As We Gather for the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost: In today’s Gospel, the man who fell among thieves in the parable of the Good Samaritan did nothing, but he was helped, nonetheless. That’s how our Lord, our own Good Samaritan, wants to treat us. Without our doing anything, He has “transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son” (Colossians 1:13). Our worship today is time to remember to do nothing except live the life God has so graciously bestowed on us.
