The City of God

The Book of Revelation ends with a beautiful vision of the renewed creation, where "there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” For a people caught in the middle between the middle and the end, this is a reminder of what is to come. This is what we're pressing on toward, what we're suffering and sacrificing for and putting all our hope in. That end will come. Lord, come quickly.
