What if suffering is a problem to be solved…but the solution? Parents discipline their children out of love because they want them to be better. But what if it doesn't work? In Revelation, plagues are sent, but the earth doesn't repent. What works is the sacrifice of two faithful witnesses who suffer, die, but are resurrected.
