No Longer Orphans

(Saturday night service) As a baptized believer, you’ve been adopted into the family of God. You are His child. You are not an orphan. And you know what that means? It means God the Father, Jesus our Lord, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter is your God. It means you are not fatherless. It means God is nearer to you than you could ever hope. The promise of our Lord is true: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”
