• Folks, we’re living in a day and time when we’ve got a lot of Christianettes who want sermonettes so that they can go out and smoke their cigarettes. • We’ve got a whole lot of Christians today who are not living like Christians, but instead they’re living like atheists! • And so they want to go to churches where they hear a watered-down Gospel and very rarely have to open their Bibles for the motivational talks that they listen to. • Jesus says, “Beware of false prophets.” • I like what one commentator says, “In a time of universal deception, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” • I want you to know today, that as long as I’m the pastor of this church, we are committed to preaching and teaching the truth of God’s Word.
