Be honest about your condition A. Admit our failures/shortcomings rather than glossing over the problem. B. Ask yourself three questions: 1. What is the condition of my relationship with God? 2. What is the condition of my marriage? 3. What is the spiritual condition of my family? III. Express your vision (v.17) A. He laid out a vision of repair for the people. B. What is your vision for your family walls? C. Address the problem before your family. D. Be honest about the condition of you family. IV. Refuse to doubt God (v. 19) A. Noah faced the same criticism when he built the ark. B. David faced it when he faced Goliath. C. Peter faced it when he preached Christ to the Jews. D. Paul faced it when he declared that Jesus was God. V. Place Your confidence in the Lord (v. 20) A. Who will you trust to help rebuild your wall? B. When criticism comes against your family, your defense is not words, but trust in God. VI. Stay With the work! A. Trust must be rebuilt. B. Standards must be enforced over time. C.
