Reason For the Season pt 1 Motivated By Love

Christmas season is here. The world makes it all about parties - presents - potential. It is a time for family gatherings + giving. But the Bible is clear as to the real reason for the season. Christmas is all about love - God's love for mankind. In a moment in time - God decided to rescue human beings from sin by sending a Child into the world to live as one of us - but not like anyone expected. I JOHN 4 God is love. God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into the world so we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love - not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
