Galatians pt 4 Relationship

There's a church in Mexico where the people walk for miles on their knees as they approach the the church. They see God as a task master and do that to please Him. They have a slave mentality. When we know God - really know Him - we find that He is not cold + distant - ready to throw lightening bolts when we don't measure up. In fact, He calls us His children + joints heirs of the Kingdom with Jesus. ROM.8: For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God + joint heirs with Christ.
