There's a wonderful old hymn called "Blessed Assurance." The first verse goes, "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine, Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. " Yet you'd be surprised how frequently people who have accepted Christ as their savior fall into doubting that blessed assurance. Is there a way to know for sure that we belong to God?
