Pastor Troy continues the Walk Through the Bible Foundations series with a look at Psalm 125. Our Walk through the Bible: Foundations is a year long journey in Building Biblical Foundations. The preaching team in 2012 will look at key players in the Word of God, and dig into their lives to get a look at the foundational truths behind them. The goal is simple, to transfer truths from the Word into our own daily walk. In some cases, we will uncover “Foundation Obstacles” or “Rubble”; stumbling blocks, debris, wood, hay and stubble. Nehemiah referred to “Rubble” as that which must be removed so that a firm foundation can be established. In other cases, we will build a list of Biblical truths, or “Foundation Stones”, that are relevant today in building a strong foundation for our walk. Each week, we will focus in on a profile (a character, place or event in the text) that will help us discover both “Rubble” and “Foundation Stones” for our lives. Artist Megan Benitone will providing a feature graphic representation to go with each week’s message. Community of Faith Church is a non-denominational church located in Southern Illinois.
