In His dealings with humanity, God's righteous wrath is often the reason why He allows us to go our own way, in order to bring us to an end of ourselves; so that we might see our need for repentance through the power of the gospel. This is brought about by His merciful kindness extended toward us, even while many of us are intentionally living lives of sinful rebellion against His purpose and will for our lives. Such a marvelous truth is to be revered and respected; because one day, His wrath will shift and bring judgment upon all who reject Him.
