Rights, Duties and Grace

Wednesday 27 May 2020 “Rights, Duties and Grace” Who created us? Who provided for us ? who redeemed us from the penalty of sin? And in response , what is our mission? Jesus laid down his “rights” and surrendered to the Father's goal. Paul suffered many times, without regarding his 'rights”, but served his Lord. Jesus taught us humility, and service to the Father and to others. .Now we are overflowing with grace and mercy from God. So what is to be our response? 2Ti 1:9  who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,  1Co 6:19  Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,  1Co 6:20  for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.  1Co 7:22  For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ.  1Co 7:23  You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants of men.
