We're in the season of Pentecost, and Pr. Jon Robbins will preach on obedience from Matthew 21:28-32, the "Parable of the Two Sons" in which Jesus tells the story of a son who initially says no to his father's request to go work in the vineyard, but later changes his mind and goes. The other son says yes to his father, but never goes to work. Who is the obedient son? The first--the one who did what was asked of him. Obedience is not easy--it requires hearing the Father's call, denying yourself, and doing the hard work of the Kingdom. Now is the time for godly people to act. Join us as we leave cheap talk behind, and do the hard work that the Father is asking us to do in His Vineyard. There is no greater joy than obediently serving Him!
